SAKINA le Choeur Zen
Vocal Ensemble In collaboration with Laeken Cultural Center
"Sakina" is a word that means in Swahili and Arabic serenity, inner peace. It is a state that manifests itself when we are in harmony with ourselves and the environment around us. This serenity, we find it when we sing, together, the polyphonies of the world.
SAKINA's vocal repertoire is based on the desire to combine subtle rhythms and vocal melodies.
Its purpose is to highlight the diversity and richness of the world's songs, to bring oral traditions to life and to share our talents. A complicity of voices that brings forth a vocal polyphonic dance.
It also aims to participate in citizen actions of solidarity, such as, flashmob, concerts or various events.
The ensemble Sakina includes about twenty amateur singers, with good rhythmic and harmonic knowledge. Contact Marielle:

The choir " chants du monde"
The choir "songs of the world" is animated by Anita Daulne.
founded in 2014
"If you can speak, you can sing and if you can walk, you can dance." It is with this African proverb that the choir "songs of the world" was created in Lessines, at the Cultural Center RRM (rue des 4 Fils Aymon 21, 7860 Lessines, barn of the Ferme N-D at the Rose.
