A whirling dance inspired by the Sufi tradition of the dervishes, carried by the breath and the ney.
Initiation to the dance of the Whirling Dervishes.
Accessibility:
The Sama dance is open to everyone, with no prior experience required. All it takes is the heart's impulse. This workshop is open to all, regardless of physical condition.
Comfortable clothing is recommended.
Program
2:30 pm – 5:30 pm: Sama Workshop
Initiation to the dance of the whirling dervishes (Sama).
An exploration of the Sufi whirling dance.
5:30 pm – 7:00 pm: Buffet and sharing time.

Sheikh Ahmad Dede, Sama Teacher: A teacher in the whirling dervish tradition (Rumi's path), he offers an inner journey centered on opening the heart.
